Break Out #3

It’s 2 am, Do you Know What Your Data is Doing?* – Trista Curzydlo: Home Depot, Blue Cross & Blue Shield, Target and TJ Maxx made headlines when they announced major data breaches.  Think only huge companies are at risk of a data breach?  Think again.  Security experts estimate that 70% of data breaches occurred in companies with fewer than 100 employees.  In 2014, 43% of companies suffered some sort of data breach.  Cloud computing and storage, e-mail communication, mobile devices and social media make your real estate business more efficient, but they can also create havoc if not properly used and protected.  How do you protect the confidential information your clients trust you with?  Whether it's an external threat or an internal problem, this class identifies the issue and helps you find a solution.

Give ‘Em Something to Talk About; Creating a Better Story for Success - Sean Carpenter: Today’s consumers have high expectations. If you want to be a star these days, you need to find ways to exceed their expectations. It’s one thing to tell a good story about who we are and what we do but it’s even better when that story can be told by others. If one person tells one more person, and that person tells another, the word of mouth can create a ripple effect of success. In today’s world, that ripple can be made even stronger thanks to technology and social media. Learn what the best brands, companies, and brokers are doing to go beyond delivering great service to create a memorable experience. An experience worth talking about.

Alternative Market Strategies - Eric Sachs: Often times agents are doing what everyone else is doing just because. Just sold, just listed, email newsletters are the marketing norm. What can an agent do to stand out and create sustainable connections with the consumers in their real estate business? This class will outline several marketing strategies that will help real estate agents create the sustainable relationships for a business they desire.

Break Out #2

Smart AND Sensitive? Fair Housing, ADA and Today’s Technology* – Trista Curzydlo: Is your smart home or office also culturally sensitive?  As real estate professionals and their clients rely on technology to enhance the real estate experience, it is vital that technology be used in manner that is inclusive to all.  This course addresses concerns over website accessibility and potential barriers that may exist in "smart home" technology. (This course is also approved for 1 hour of Fair Housing CE.)

Sphere Factor - Overcoming Your Fear of Talking to People You Know* – It’s been said that it’s cheaper to maintain a current client than find a new one, and according to the NAR, almost 70% of home Buyers and Sellers choose their agent through a personal relationship. So why is it so hard for most agents to remain in contact with people they know? It’s time to become better at earning the confidence and trust of the people you already know and have them and their referrals think of you when it’s time to buy or sell. From setting up your system, joining the “4H Club” of daily prospecting, and enacting Operation Reach Out, this session will make you want to keep in touch with your past clients and sphere of influence.

Customer Experience - Eric Sachs: With the ever-increasing focus on technology in real estate, many real estate agents are losing focus on the most important part of the transaction. The customer! This class will re-focus attendees on creating a remarkable customer experience for their buyer’s and seller’s, in turn creating a referral engine delivering 10X referrals during the next ten years.

Break Out #1

Intellectual Property, It’s Not Just for Nerds Anymore* – Trista Curzydlo: The cool kids are all doing it...Social Media.  Regardless of your tech savvy, you'll discover what violations are becoming increasingly common and develop risk reduction techniques to protect yourself and your interests.  Do you know what you're really agreeing to when you click that Terms of Use box?  Do you know what's out there and what to watch for when beginning a new venture?  Trista delivers this vital information with wit and yes, FUN!

Building a Better Buyer:  The Power of a Good Buyer Counseling Session* – Sean Carpenter: In today's low-inventory market, the last thing you need to be is a "Pop Tart" agent.  If you're tired of running around with uncommitted customers, maybe it's time you started diagnosing people's issues before you try to prescribe a cure.  This session looks at the 5 reasons to hold a Buyer Counseling Session, the forms, and dialogues to create a trustworthy relationship and how to turn your "lookers" into buyers.

Tech Tips for Success- Eric Sachs: In a world of "technobecity” real estate agents are bombarded with shiny pennies. This fast-paced class will give agents a brief explanation of different low cost or even free applications we feel they can use to build their personal brand. Agents have time to ask questions and decide for themselves which applications would be helpful to them.

'I Got This' with Terry Watson

Across the country inventory is scarce and this is becoming the Mother of All Sellers Markets, listing presentations are turning into FBI background checks and unaccepted offers are becoming the norm.  This can be soul crushing for your buyers and emotionally exhausting for you.  The end result is you have to sell the same buyer multiple homes, while only getting paid for one.  On top of this, Millennials and Gen X’ers demand a great real estate experience.  Good service doesn’t cut it anymore.  If they are unhappy with the experience, it will become part of your permanent record – on Yelp, You Tube or Zillow.  Selling real estate has morphed into American Idol or Dancing with the Stars.

Finally, a laugh out loud session that actually gives you the tools to walk into any real estate situation, and say….I Got This!!
